HH the Amir Issues Decrees Ratifying Agreements and MOUs

HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani issued Decree No.(24) of 2014 ratifying the Cooperation Agreement in Security Affairs between the State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Spain, which was signed in Madrid on 26/04/2011. The Agreement shall have the force of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Qatari Constitution.
HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani issued Decree No. (25) of 2014 ratifying a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in the field of education, higher education and scientific research between governments of State of Qatar and the Republic of Peru, which was signed in Lima on 14/02/2013. The MOU shall have the force of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Qatari Constitution.
HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani issued Decree No. (26) of 2014 ratifying an air transport agreement between the governments of State of Qatar and the Republic of Portugal, which was signed in Doha on 28/05/2012. The agreement shall have the force of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Qatari Constitution.
HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani issued Decree No. (27) of 2014 ratifying agreement between the governments of State of Qatar and the Republic of Portugal on the avoidance of double taxation, and prevention of fiscal evasion with regard to income tax, and the protocol and MOU annexed to it, which were signed in Doha on 12/12/2011. The agreement shall have the force of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Qatari Constitution
The Decrees are effective from the date of their publication in the official gazette.
