HH the Amir Reshuffles Supreme Council for Economic Affairs and Investment

HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani issued Amiri Decision No. 88 of 2014, amending some provisions of Amiri Decision No. 37 of 2001 on the establishment of the Supreme Council for Economic Affairs and Investment. The decision stipulates that the council shall be reshuffled with its new formation comprising HH the Amir as chairman, HH the Deputy Amir as vice chairman and the membership of the prime minister and interior minister (executive member), the foreign minister, minister of energy and industry, minister of finance, minister of economy and commerce, Qatar Central Bank governor, the Amiri Diwan's economic advisor and two representatives of Qatar Investment Authority.

The decision is effective as of the date of issue and is to be published in the official gazette.
