HH the Amir Issues Decrees

HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani today issued decree No. 67 of 2013 endorsing an agreement on joint cooperation and exchange of news between governments of the State of Qatar and the Republic of Peru, signed in the city of Lima on 14.2.2013. The agreement shall have the power of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution.

HH the Amir also issued decree No. 65 of 2013 endorsing an agreement between governments of the State of Qatar and Barbados on the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with regard to income tax, signed in the city of Doha on 6.12.2012. The agreement shall have the power of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution.

HH the Amir issued decree No. 66 of 2013 endorsing the Arab Human Rights Charter, which the State of Qatar signed at Arab League Headquarters in Cairo on 44.1.2008. The Charter shall have the power of law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution.

The agreements shall go into effect from the date of issue and are to be published in the official gazette.
