HH The Amir Holds Talks Session with Tunisia President
His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and HE President of the Republic of Tunisia Kais Saied held an official talks session at Carthage Presidential Palace in Tunis on Monday.
Talks during the session pertained to the close bilateral relations between the two countries and means to develop these relations in all fields in addition to a number of regional and international issues of common concern.
During the talks session, the two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two brotherly countries, especially in the fields of economy, investment, security and defense, as the two sides agreed to create an effective mechanism to accelerate the pace of work between the two countries within the Joint Higher Committee, in order to overcome all difficulties facing everything that would strengthen and develop relations in various fields.
The talks also dealt with a number of regional and international issues of common concern to the two countries, most importantly the latest developments of the Palestinian Cause and the Libyan crisis. The two sides stressed the importance of promoting joint Arab action.

On the Tunisian side, It was attended by a number of Their Excellencies ministers and senior officials.
