HH The Amir and U.S. President Witness Signing of Agreements Between Two Countries

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and HE President Donald Trump of the friendly United States witnessed the signing of a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding (MoUs) between the two countries, at the White House at noon on Tuesday.

The two leaders witnessed the signing of an agreement between Qatar Petroleum and Chevron Phillips for the development of an international petrochemical complex in the Gulf Coast of the United States, and an agreement between Qatar Airways and General Electric to provide and maintain the GEnx and GE9X engines, and Boeing to confirm the purchase order of five Boeing 777 cargo aircraft, and the last related to purchasing aircrafts from Gulf Stream Aviation Company.

They also witnessed the signing of an agreement in the field of air defense to provide the State of Qatar with multiple additional systems of air defense.

The signing ceremony was attended by Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying HH The Amir.

From the U.S. side, it was attended by a number of Their Excellencies Ministers and senior officials.
