HH The Amir Issues Decrees

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani issued on Monday Decree No. 5 of 2020 ratifying a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the field of legal and judicial training between the government of the State of Qatar and the government of the Republic of Turkey, signed in Doha on 15/11/2017, annexed to this decree and shall have the powers of a law in line with Article 68 of the constitution.

HH The Amir issued Decree No. 6 of 2020, ratifying a cooperation agreement between the government of the State of Qatar and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), signed in Doha on 16/12/2018, annexed to this decree and shall have the powers of a law in line with Article 68 of the constitution.

HH The Amir also issued Decree No. 7 of 2020 ratifying an agreement between the government of the State of Qatar and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) regarding the establishment and financing of the United Nations Regional Center for Combating Cybercrime in Doha, signed in Doha on 29/10/2019, annexed to this decree and shall have the powers of a law in line with Article 68 of the constitution.

HH The Amir issued Decree No. 8 of 2020 ratifying an agreement between the government of the State of Qatar and the government of the Republic of Greece regarding the exemption from visa requirements for holders of valid diplomatic, service or special passports, signed in Doha on 2/5/2019, annexed to this decree and shall have the powers of a law in line with Article 68 of the constitution.

The decrees are effective from their date of issue and are to be published in the official gazette.
