His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani left Amman on Sunday morning, after a two-day official visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, heading to the sisterly Tunisian Republic.
HH The Amir and his accompanied delegation were seen off upon departure at the Queen Alia International Airport by HM King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, HH Prince Ali bin Al-Hussein President of Jordan Football Association, a lineup of Their Excellencies Ministers and senior military and civil officials, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Jordan Sheikh Saud bin Nasser Al Thani, HE Jordan's Ambassador to the State of Qatar Zaid Al Lawzi and Their Excellencies members of the Qatari Embassy in Jordan.
HH The Amir sent a cable to HM King of Jordan to express deep thanks and appreciation for the warm hospitality and honor accorded to him and the accompanying delegation during the visit, which provided HH the opportunity to meet HM the King, as well as exchange views on issues of common concern and means of strengthening and promoting the fraternal relations between the two countries, as the talks affirmed the mutual keenness of HH and HM to continue enhancing and developing them in various fields for the good and the benefit of the two peoples. HH The Amir wished HM the King the best of health and happiness, and the friendly people of Jordan further progress and prosperity.
