His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani today met with Heads of delegations participating in the 68th session of the UN General Assembly at the premises of the Permanent Mission of the State of Qatar to the United Nations in New York.

HH The Amir met with the President of the Republic of Burkina Faso, Blaise Compaore, the Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, Oqil Oqilov, and the Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves.

HH The Amir also met separately with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Erlan Idrissov.

Discussions during the meetings dealt with bilateral relations and the most important topics on the agenda of the current session of the UN General Assembly.

The meetings were attended by a number of Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying HH The Amir.
