HH The Amir Speech at the 35th GCC Summit Closing Session
My Fellow Brothers,
Your Majesties and Highnesses,
Your Excellency the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council States,
Honourable Attendees,
I would like at the conclusion of the deliberations of this auspicious summit that the State of Qatar was honoured to host, to convey to all of you, on behalf of the people and government of the State of Qatar and in my own name, sincere thanks and appreciation for your cordial participation and benevolent efforts, which have culminated in achieving positive results that reaffirmed our commitment to deepen the solidarity and unity of our ranks and goal and to promote and develop our council’s path for the good and the benefit of our peoples.
I would also like to thank His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council and all the General Secretariat staff for the efforts they have exerted to accomplish the tasks of this summit.
I should also extend sincere thanks to the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its generous invitation to host the 36th session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf.
As I declare the conclusion of the deliberations of this summit, I appeal to God Almighty to help us all achieve our peoples’ aspirations for advancement and progress.
