HH The Amir Receives FIFA President

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received at Al Bahr Palace on Thursday FIFA President Gianni Infantino.

HH The Amir congratulated Infantino on his assumption of the FIFA presidency and wished him success in his duties.

During the meeting, HH The Amir and the FIFA President reviewed the existing relations of cooperation between Qatar and FIFA and ways to enhance them, particularly with regard to the final preparations to organise the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar, and the progress that has been achieved so far in this area.

The meeting was attended by HH Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Personal Representative of HH The Amir.
