HH The Amir Receives Lakhdar Brahimi

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received today at Dharb Palace the United Nations/Arab League Envoy to Syria Lakhdar Brahimi and his accompanying delegation.

Talks during the meeting dealt with the latest developments in the Syria arena, particularly developments related to the convening of the Geneva II Conference aimed to find a solution to the Syrian crisis.

HH The Amir underlined the firm stance of the State of Qatar in support of efforts aimed to alleviate the suffering of the Syrian people and to immediately halt of the bloodbath and the deterioration of the situation there.
