HH The Amir Receives First Vice President of Transitional Sovereignty Council of Sudan

His Highest The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received this morning at his Amiri Diwan office, HE First Vice President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of the Republic of Sudan Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo and his accompanying delegation, on the occasion of his visit to the country.

At the beginning of the meeting, HE First Vice President Mohamed Hamdan Daglo briefed HH The Amir on the latest developments in Sudan, and expressed his thanks and appreciation to HH The Amir for Qatar's support for Sudan in all fields, especially its efforts to achieve peace in Darfur.

During the meeting, they reviewed brotherly relations between the two countries and means of supporting and strengthening them, in addition to the latest regional and international developments.
