HH The Amir Receives FIFA President

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received at the Amiri Diwan Office on Wednesday morning HE President of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) Gianni Infantino, who called on HH The Amir to greet him on the occasion of his visit to the country.

Talks during the meeting dealt with the joint cooperation between the State of Qatar and the FIFA, especially the preparations for hosting FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and the achievements made in this regard.

A number of issues related to sports were also discussed.
