HH The Amir Receives Italian Defense Minister

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received on Wednesday at his office at the Amiri Diwan with HE Minister of Defense of the Italian Republic Lorenzo Guerini, and the accompanying delegation, on the occasion of their visit to the country.

At the beginning of the meeting, HE the Minister of Defense conveyed the thanks of HE President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella and his appreciation to HH The Amir for the State of Qatar's support for Italy during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, as Qatar was one of the first countries that provided medical aid.

During the meeting, they reviewed joint cooperation relations between the two countries and means of supporting them, in addition to the most prominent regional and international developments.
