HH The Amir Attends Opening Ceremony of 24th Winter Olympics in Beijing

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani attended Friday evening the opening ceremony of the 24th Winter Olympics under the slogan "Together for a Shared Future" at the National Stadium known as the "Bird's Nest" in the People's Republic of China's capital Beijing.

The opening ceremony was attended by a number of Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying HH The Amir.

The events of the opening ceremony started with a visual display of artistic and lyrical shows with the entry of flags of participating countries amid a display of fireworks.
