HH The Amir Receives Speaker of US House of Representatives

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met on Saturday afternoon with HE Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi, on the sidelines of the 55th Munich Security Council.

The meeting dealt with reviewing bilateral relations, and the joint efforts to counter-terrorism and its financing. HE the Speaker thanked HH The Amir for the role the Al Udeid airbase plays in that regard. The two sides also exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments.

The meeting was attended by a number of Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying HH The Amir.
