HH The Amir Issues Decrees to Ratify Memoranda of Understanding

HH The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani issued on Thursday Decree No. 22 of 2019 ratifying a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to cooperate in the energy field between the Ministry of Energy and Industry in the State of Qatar and Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Bulgaria signed in Sofia on March 8, 2018, annexed to this decree and shall have the powers of a law in line with Article 68 of the constitution.

HH The Amir also issued Decree No. 23 of 2019 to ratify a MoU to cooperate in the education field between the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in the State of Qatar and the Ministry of Education in the Republic of Singapore signed in Doha on March 6, 2016, annexed to this decree and shall have the powers of a law in line with Article 68 of the constitution.

HH The Amir issued Decree No. 24 of 2019 to ratify an agreement on encouraging and protecting mutual investments between the governments of the State of Qatar and the Republic of Paraguay signed in Doha on February 11 2018, annexed to this decree and shall have the powers of a law in line with Article 68 of the constitution.

HH The Amir issued Decree No. 25 of 2019 to ratify an agreement on encouraging and protecting mutual investments between the governments of the State of Qatar and the Togolese Republic signed in Doha on April 30, 2018, annexed to this decree and shall have the powers of a law in line with Article 68 of the constitution.

HH The Amir issued Decree No. 26 of 2019 to ratify a MoU between Qatar Media Corporation and Turkish Radio and Television Corporation signed in Doha on November 15, 2017, annexed to this decree and shall have the powers of law in line with Article 68 of the constitution.

The decrees are effective starting from their date of issue and are to be published in the official gazette.
