HH The Amir Issues Decrees

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani issued Decree No. 23 of 2018, on ratifying the agreement between the governments of the State of Qatar and Republic of The Gambia on the avoidance of double taxation and prevention of fiscal evasion regarding income tax, signed in Doha on November 11, 2014, annexed to this decree and to have the force of law in line with Article 68 of the constitution.

HH The Amir also issued Decree No. 24 of 2018 ratifying the memorandum of understanding (MoU) to cooperate in the field of education, higher education and scientific research between the governments of the State of Qatar and Socialist Republic of Vietnam, signed in Hanoi on January 16, 2012, annexed to this decree and to have the force of law in line with Article 68 of the constitution.

HH The Amir issued Decree No. 25 of 2018 ratifying the MoU on developing cooperation in the energy field between the governments of the State of Qatar and Turkmenistan signed in Doha on March 15, 2017, annexed to this decree and to have the force of law in line with Article 68 of the constitution.

The decrees are effective starting from their date of issue and are to be published in the official gazette.
