HH The Amir to Patronize Launch of Doha Historical Dictionary of Arabic Tomorrow

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani will patronize on Monday morning the inauguration ceremony of the Doha Historical Dictionary of the Arabic language. The ceremony will be organized by the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies of the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies.

The Doha Historical Dictionary of the Arabic language, on which work commenced in May 2013, is the first dictionary that oversees the compilation of a historical lexicon of the Arabic language. The project has been under the guidance and support of HH The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani since he was the Heir Apparent within his vision of preserving the Arabic language and the identity of the nation.
