HH The Amir Leaves Astana

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani left today the capital Astana following his participation in the Astana International Forum, heading to Dushanbe on a state visit to the friendly Republic of Tajikistan.

HH The Amir was seen off at Astana International Airport by HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Murat Nurtleu, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Kazakhstan Abdulaziz bin Sultan Al Rumaihi, HE Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Qatar Arman Issagaliyev and members of the Qatari Embassy.

HH The Amir sent a cable to HE President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, expressing thanks and appreciation for the warm welcome accorded to him and the accompanying delegation while attending the Astana International Forum. HH The Amir praised the valuable efforts that contributed to the success of the Forum and expressed hope that it would achieve its desired goals.

HH The Amir also expressed pleasure at the opportunity to meet with HE President of Kazakhstan and exchange views on issues of common interest and means to support and strengthen bilateral relations in various fields for the benefit and interest of the two friendly peoples.
