HH The Amir Leaves Samarkand

 His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani left Samarkand on Tuesday after a State Visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan, heading to Bishkek on a State Visit to the Kyrgyz Republic.

His Highness and the accompanying delegation were seen off at Samarkand International Airport by HE Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, HE Uzbek Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov, and HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Uzbekistan Hassan bin Hamza Hashim.

HH the Amir sent a cable to HE President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, expressing thanks and appreciation for the warm welcome accorded to him and the accompanying delegation in Samarkand during his visit, which provided an opportunity to exchange views on issues of common concern and ways to support and strengthen the friendly relations between the two countries in various fields for the benefit of the two nations
