HH The Amir Holds Talks Session with President of El Salvador

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and HE President of the Republic of El Salvador Nayib Armando Bukele held an official session of talks at the presidential palace today. 

At the onset of the meeting, HH The Amir expressed his thanks and appreciation for HE President of the Republic of El Salvador for the good reception and hospitality, expressing His Highness's happiness for this visit, confirming his keenness to strengthen and develop the solid bilateral cooperation ties that bring the two countries together in a variety of fields to achieve interests of the two friendly nations and peoples. 

For his part, HE the President welcomed HH The Amir as an important guest of El Salvador, wishing the relations between the two countries further progress and growth, especially with respect to joint opportunities and projects. 

During the session, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to upgrade them, especially concerning investment, economic, trade, law, and health fields, in addition to sharing perspectives on several issues of common concern. 

The session was attended by HE Chief of the Amiri Diwan Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, HE Minister of State for Energy Affairs Eng. Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi, HE Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al Thani, HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Khulaifi, alongside a number of Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying HH The Amir. 

From the side of El Salvador, the meeting was attended by HE Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexandra Hill Tinoco, HE Minister of Communications Sofia Veronica Medina Perez, HE Minister of Trade and Investment Miguel Kattan, HE Minister of Justice Gustavo Villatoro, HE Minister of Agriculture and Livestock Oscar Guardado, HE Minister of Health Francisco Alabi, alongside several senior officials. 

HH The Amir and HE President of the Republic of El Salvador held a bilateral meeting prior to holding talks during which they discussed cooperation ties between the two countries and ways to enhance and develop them. 

HE President of the Republic of El Salvador held a luncheon banquet in honor of HH The Amir and the accompanying delegation. 

An official reception ceremony was held for HH The Amir earlier upon his arrival at the presidential palace.
