HH The Amir, Algerian President Give Joint Press Statements

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in joint press statements with HE President of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria Abdelmadjid Tebboune at El Mouradia presidential palace today, said that their talks were constructive. His Highness stressed that the two countries' relations in the economic and investment fields will be further developed, adding that Qatar and Algeria agreed on many matters.

During the remarks, HH The Amir praised Algeria's regional and Arab role and its honorable history in resolving many of the existing conflicts, whether in the region or in the Arab world, stressing the need for its role in this regard and expressing his confidence in the success of the upcoming Arab summit to be hosted by Algeria.

At the beginning of the press statements, HH The Amir expressed his thanks and the accompanying delegation to HE the Algerian President for the good reception and hospitality.

For his part, HE the Algerian President welcomed HH The Amir and his accompanying delegation, saying that his talks with HH The Amir affirmed the full agreement of the two countries on the issues raised during the talks, including economic and political fields, and Arab, regional and international issues, while thanking HH The Amir and the accompanying delegation for the visit.
