HH The Amir and Chancellor of Austria Witness Signing of Two Memorandums of Understanding

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and HE Federal Chancellor of the Republic of Austria Sebastian Kurz witnessed the signing ceremony of two memorandums of understanding (MoU), at the Federal Chancellery in Vienna this afternoon. 

HH The Amir and HE the Chancellor witnessed the signing of an MoU on economic, commercial  and technical cooperation between the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the Federal Ministry for Digital and Economic Affairs in the Republic of Austria, to promote economic relations, improve the level of mutual trade exchange, encourage the establishment of exhibitions and mutual events between the two countries and exempt customs duties on  certain imports and exports. 

They also witnessed the signing of an MoU in the tourism field between the National Tourism Council and the Federal Ministry for Sustainability and Tourism in the Republic of Austria, which aims to develop and promote cooperation between both countries in this field. 

The signing ceremony was attended by Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying HH The Amir, and was attended from the Austrian side by Their Excellencies ministers.
