HH The Amir Meets Members of U.S. House Committee on Foreign Affairs

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met on Wednesday with HE Chairman of the U.S. House Committee on Foreign Affairs Eliot Engel, HE Vice Chair of the Committee Joe Wilson, HE Chairman of the Middle East, North Africa, and International Terrorism Subcommittee Ted Deutch, HE Vice Chair of the subcommittee Michael McCaul, HE Steve Shabot, HE Brad Sherman, at the headquarters of the U.S. Congress in Washington DC.

The meeting dealt with the strategic bilateral relations and cooperation, and the scope for expanding them in different field in light of the agreements signed by the two countries.

The two sides also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues.

The meeting was attended by a number of Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying HH The Amir.
