HH The Amir and President of Argentina hold official talks

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and HE President of the Argentine Republic Mauricio Macri held a session of official talks at the presidential palace in Buenos Aires.

At the beginning of the meeting, HE the President welcomed HH The Amir on his second visit to the Argentine Republic, praising the friendly relations between the two countries and their development, hoping that his visit would contribute to further cooperation.

For his part, HH The Amir underlined the strong relations between the two countries, adding that both countries will continue to work for further cooperation in other fields, expressing his confidence that this visit will contribute to enhancing the cooperation between the two countries.

Both sides discussed means of developing bilateral relations and areas of cooperation in the fields of economy, investment and sport, as well as sharing experiences with regards to education, research, sport, agriculture and environment.

They also discussed issues of common interest.

The meeting was attended by members of the official delegation accompanying HH The Amir.

From the Argentinian side, the meeting was attended by a number of their Excellencies the ministers.
