HH The Amir Visits National Congress of Paraguay

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani paid today a visit to the Republic of Paraguay's National Congress building.

Upon arrival, HH The Amir was greeted by HE Silvio Ovelar, President of the National Congress and President of the Senate, and his deputy Miguel Cuevas, chairman of Chamber of Deputies, and a number of Their Excellencies members of the two chambers of the National Congress.

During the visit, His Highness reviewed with the President of the National Congress and his deputy and members the prospects of developing friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the legislative and parliamentary fields, as well as the exchange of experiences in related fields.

HH Thd Amir was accompanied by Their Excellencies members of the official delegation.
