HH The Amir, Ecuadorian President Witness Signing of Agreement and MoUs

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and HE President Lenin Moreno of the Republic of Ecuador witnessed the signing of an agreement and a number of memoranda of understanding between the Governments of the State of Qatar and the Republic of Ecuador at the Presidential "Carondelet Palace", in Quito, Monday evening .

They witnessed the signing of an agreement in the field of environment and nature protection aimed at expanding and developing joint cooperation in the field of environment protection and sustainable development, as well as a memorandum of understanding for cooperation to establish the Joint Ministerial Committee for Economic, Commercial and Technical Cooperation aimed at developing ways of cooperation and relations between the two countries in the mentioned fields within the framework of common interest and mutual benefit.

HH The Amir and HE the President also witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the fields of youth and sport aimed at enhancing the exchange of visits between the two countries, and exchanging information and opinions on areas related to youth and sport activities, besides the signing of a joint declaration on cooperation in the agricultural field between the Ministry of Municipality and Environment in Qatar and the Ministry of Agriculture and livestock in the Republic of Ecuador aimed at developing cooperation between the two countries to increase the volume of exchange of agricultural products.

The signing ceremony was attended by Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying HH The Amir, and was attended from the Ecuadorian side by a number of Their Excellencies ministers and senior officials.
