HH The Amir, Algerian President Discuss Bilateral Relations
His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and President Abdelaziz Bouteflika of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria discussed relations between the two countries and means to develop them further, particularly in the fields of economy, investment and energy.
The meeting, which was held at the Presidential Palace in the Algerian capital this evening, also dealt with a number of regional and international issues, particularly the situation in Libya, where the two sides agreed on the importance of supporting the Presidential Council of the Government of National Reconciliation in its quest to achieve security and stability in Libya.
The meeting was attended by Their Excellencies Members of the delegation accompanying HH The Amir.
On the Algerian side, it was attended by Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal, President of the People's National Assembly, Mohamed-Larbi Ould Khelifa, and a number of Ministers.
