HH The Amir Meets Turkish President

HH The Amir and Turkish President meeting during a working lunch at Yilidiz Presidential Palace

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani discussed Friday the latest regional and international developments with President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

They focused on developments in Syria and agreed on the need for a political resolution to the crisis that maintains the unity of Syrian land.

The meeting took place at Yilidiz presidential Palace where the two leaders had a working lunch and reviewed bilateral cooperation and the means to enhance them. They discussed cooperation in the economic, investment and military field.

The delegation accompanying HH The Amir attended the meeting. On the Turkish side, members of the cabinet attended the meeting as well.
