HH The Amir Meets President of Turkey
His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani Discussed with HE President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the latest regional and international developments, particularly the latest developments in Palestine in light of the Israeli attacks on the city of Jerusalem and the violation of the sanctity of Al Aqsa Mosque.
During a meeting held at Huber Palace in Istanbul this morning, the two leaders stressed the importance of intensifying efforts for establishing a unified position to support and protect the rights of the Palestinian people, and urging the international community to put an end to the blatant Israeli violations of Jerusalem and Al Aqsa Mosque.
Talks during the meeting dealt with the two countries' cooperation relations and means to further develop them to serve the interests of both nations in addition to exchanging views on issues of common concern and the developments in the region, especially in Syria and Yemen.
Their Excellencies members of the delegation accompanying HH The Amir attended the meeting. On the Turkish side, the meeting was attended by a number of ministers and senior officials.
