HH The Amir Meets Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Performs Umrah
His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on Wednesday evening met Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at Al Safa Palace in Mecca.
HH Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, personal representative of HH The Amir, attended the meeting along with Their Excellencies members of the accompanying delegation.
On the Saudi side, Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, attended the meeting alongside Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet Dr. Musaad bin Mohammed Al Aiban; Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet and Acting Minister of Housing, Isam bin Saad bin Saeed; and Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al Jubeir.
The meeting reviewed the existing fraternal ties between the two brotherly countries and ways of boosting and developing them on all fronts. It also discussed a set of regional and international issues of mutual interest, particularly the latest developments in the region.
HH The Amir attended an iftar banquet held by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in honor of HH and the accompanying delegation.
HH The Amir performed Umrah rituals on Wednesday afternoon.
