HH The Amir and British Prime Minister Hold Official Talks
His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met today with British Prime Minister David Cameron to discuss bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to strengthen them at all levels.
The official talks, which were held at the Prime Minister's Office No. 10 Downing Street in London, also dealt with a number of current international and regional issues, especially the situation in the region.
HE the Foreign Minister Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah and the British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for establishing a ministerial forum for dialogue between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland covering regional security and stability in the region.
HE Qatar's Ambassador to the United Kingdom Yousuf bin Ali Al Khater handed over a letter to Mr. Nick Perry concerning a grant from the State of Qatar to support the Margaret Thatcher Scholarship Trust.
