HH The Amir at the 5th forum for business leaders in the emerging markets in Beijing

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on joint investment between the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) and China's CITIC Group on the sidelines of the 5th forum for business leaders in the emerging markets which organised under the auspices of QIA and the Credit Suisse Bank at Regent Hotel in the Chinese capital Beijing on Tuesday morning.

The MoU provides $10 billion to invest equally in China in several sectors such as infrastructure, utilities, health, energy, real estate, retail and others.

HH The Amir also attended part of the Forum, where he met with a group of businessmen.
