HH The Amir Visits Arab Institute in Paris

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani visited Tuesday evening the Arab World Institute in Paris. HH The Amir was welcomed upon arrival by Institute President Jack Lang and a number of senior officials.

HH The Amir and the Institute President reviewed areas of bilateral cooperation, particularly in the scientific, cultural and intellectual fields, and ways of enhancing such cooperation, and exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest.

His Highness also visited the "Pilgrimage to Makkah" exhibition organised by the Arab World Institute in collaboration with the King Abdulaziz Public Library and the British Museum, and was briefed on the expo's collection of books and rare paintings from different Arab countries, including copies of the Holy Quran, old photos of pilgrims, and historical images of Makkah's Grand Mosque, the Kaaba and Mount Arafat.
