HH The Deputy Amir Receives Portuguese Ambassador

His Highness The Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani received at his Amiri Diwan Office on Sunday morning HE Ambassador of the Republic of Portugal Fernando Manuel de Gouveia Araujo who called on HH The Deputy Amir to greet him on the occasion of the end of his tenure in the country.
At the outset of the meeting, HH The Deputy Amir granted HE the Portuguese Ambassador the Sash of Merit in appreciation of his efforts in promoting relations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Portugal, wishing him success in his future assignments and the relations further progress and prosperity.
For his part, the Portuguese Ambassador expressed his thanks and appreciation to HH The Deputy Amir and the state officials for the cooperation he received which contributed to the completion of his duty in the country.
