HH The Amir Presides Over Supreme Council for Economic Affairs and Investment’s Third Meeting

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Economic Affairs and Investment, presided over the council’s third meeting of 2014.

The council discussed the latest developments in the industry and the petrochemicals sector, as well as projects of Qatar Petroleum International.

The council also saw a visual presentation on the development of the banking sector in Qatar, during which HH The Amir directed Qatar Central Bank to work out a strategy to develop the sector in order to have a greater say in economic development.
