HH the Amir Issues Amiri Decision for Setting up Qatar 2022 Supreme Committee

HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani issued the Amiri decision No.(3) of 2014 amending some provisions of the Amiri decision No.(27) of 2011 for establishing the Qatar 2022 Supreme Committee.
The Amiri decision stipulates in its first article that the phrase 'the higher committee for projects and heritage" to be replaced by the phrase "Qatar 2022 Supreme Committee" " wherever it is mentioned in the title and provisions of the Emiri decision No.(27)of 2011. The Amiri decision also stipulates in its second article that the text of article (5) of the aforementioned Amiri decision No.(27) of 2011 to be replaced by the following text: article (5) ,a boad of directors is to be in charge of the aforesaid committee .The board is to include a chairman , a deputy chairman and a number of members from the concerned parties and those of expertise in the committee's specialisties and an Amiri decision to be issued for the appointment and setting the bonus of those in charge. The board of directors would have a secretary to be selected by the board chairman who will set his functions and tasks and bonus. The Amir decision annulled each rule that violates the provisions of this resolution.
The decision is to be effective and operative as from the date of its issue and to be published in the official gazette.
