HH the Amir Issues Amiri Decision Restructuring Supreme Council of Health

HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani issued an Amiri decision restructuring the Supreme Council of Health (SCH).
The decision provides for restructuring the SCH under the chairmanship of HE Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Bin Khalifa Al Thani and HE Dr. Mohamed Bin Ghanim Al Ali, as Vice Chairman .The SCH will include each of the following as members:
1-HE Abdullah Bin Khalid Al Qahtani;
2- HE Sheikha Dr.Ghalia Bint Mohamed Bin Hamad Al Thani;
3-Dr.Lord Darzi;
4-Dr. Elias Zerhounui;
5- Dr Jenchen Le;
6- Ms. Christine Beasley.
The Amiri decision also stipulates that the membership duration will be four years renewable for other similar durations.
The Amiri decision cancelled the Amiri decision No. 22 of 2009 .
The decision is operative and effective as of the date of issue and to be published in the official gazette.
