His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani arrived on Sunday evening in Amman, for a two-day official visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
HH The Amir was welcomed upon arrival at Queen Alia International Airport by HM King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan; HRH Prince Faisal bin Al-Hussein Advisor to HM the King and Chairman of the National Policies Council; HH Prince Ali bin Al-Hussein President of Jordan Football Association; HH Prince Hashim bin Al-Hussein Chief Royal Councilor; a lineup of Their Highness Princes; HE Prime Minister of Jordan Dr. Omar Razzaz; HE Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court Yousef Al Isawi; HE Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi; HE President of the Jordanian Senate Faisal Al Fayez; HE Speaker of Jordan's House of Representatives Atef Tarawneh; a lineup of Their Excellencies Ministers and senior military and civil officials; HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Jordan Sheikh Saud bin Nasser bin Jassim Al Thani; HE Jordan's Ambassador to the State of Qatar Zaid Mufleh Al Lawzi and members of the Qatari Embassy in Jordan.
HH The Amir was accorded an official reception ceremony upon his arrival at the airport, which included the firing of 21 canon shots and playing the national anthems of the two countries.
