HH The Amir and Sultan of Oman Hold Fraternal Meeting

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and HM Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of the Sultanate of Oman held a fraternal meeting at the Al Baraka Palace in Muscat.

During the meeting, they exchanged cordial talks and discussed a number of topics of common interest.

They also discussed aspects of historical relations that bind the two fraternal countries. In this regard, HH The Amir and HM the Sultan emphasized their mutual keenness to develop these relations and look forward to pushing them ahead in a way that benefits, prosperity, and development for the two brotherly peoples.

The meeting was attended by HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, HE President of the Qatar Olympic Committee Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, HE Chief of the Amiri Diwan Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, HE Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, HE Minister of Culture Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al Thani, HE Minister of Sports and Youth Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, HE Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Faisal bin Thani Al Thani, HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Khulaifi, along with Their Excellency members of the official delegation accompanying HH The Amir.

On the Omani side, the meeting was attended by HH Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs Sayyid Shihab bin Tariq Al Said, HH Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, HH Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham Al Said, HE Minister of the Diwan of the Royal Court Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, HE Minister of the Royal Office General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nomani, HE Minister of Interior Sayyid Hamood bin Faisal Al Busaidi, HE Minister of Foreign Affairs Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Albusaidi, and HE Minister of Finance Sayyid Sultan bin Salim Al Habsi.

HH The Amir also attended the luncheon banquet held by HM the Sultan of Oman in honor of His Highness and the accompanying delegation.
