HH The Amir Issues Expertise Regulation Law

HH The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani issued on Tuesday law No. (16) of 2017 on the regulation of works of expertise. The law includes provisions regulating the works of expertise in a comprehensive manner, including the terms and conditions of the registration of experts, their guarantees and obligations in the exercise of their work, whether before the judicial or other relevant bodies, and the rules of their disciplinary accountability.

The law also establishes a committee of experts affairs to supervise their affairs and to consider applications for registration in accordance with the provisions of the law.

The law is effective and is to be published in the official gazette.
